JUDGE NOT!

This blog is taken from a daily message at  http://www.positivechristianity.org/

"Judge not, and you will not be judged." Luke 6:37

This week, we make a spiritual commitment to follow Jesus Christ by
deciding not to judge for the next seven days.

Let us make a commitment to being nonjudgmental and fair-minded. We
realize that all people are learning and growing. We respect the right of
others to grow in ways that are truly best for them.

Being fair-minded means being open to the differences that make each
person unique, because no one person has all the information or the
understanding of life. There is no one correct way to view life or a
particular situation in life.

We make a spiritual commitment not to criticize in the next week. The
cause of all criticism is judgment. Rather than being critical of others,
we pray for and work with others in prayer so that they can find their own
right answers.

We also practice being nonjudgmental and noncritical with ourselves. We do
not expect perfection in ourselves. Instead, we allow ourselves the
freedom to grow and to change. We let go of past mistakes so that we can
learn from them and move on. Accepting ourselves and others where we are
right now allows us to flow with the right and perfect course in life.

God is everywhere present. God's presence is with you. Wherever you are,
God supplies you with all you need, and God is also with those that are
choosing other paths from your own.

You let go of any thought of judgment and you pray to become nonjudgmental
and fair-minded. You let the Divine life flow through former critical
thought processes. You surrender the need to be right. You surrender your
need to provide answers. You relax; you let go; and you let God's life of
good be expressed in a variety of ways in all life.

You relax and let go of all doubt and tension. You enter into cooperative
action with God. You give thanks that God is doing a perfect work through
others and in all of the situations on their individual paths. You realize
that God is working behind the scenes to turn around all problems and
misguided actions to Divine order. The answers for another life may not be
your own answers, but they will be the exact answers that soul needs to
grow and to become fulfilled.

God's presence includes all that any person needs at any moment. You let
go of the need to get advice-involved; you let go and let God work through
the person’s life. As they learn to follow God's guidance, you will
witness the miracle of their every need being fulfilled in a custom and
unique way, to benefit their individual life.

Positive Affirmation for the Day:

I follow Christ by choosing to no longer lower myself by judging others.
